DISSEMINATION SESSION “Introduction to the EU and social policy” with the students of the Secondary Education Institute “Levante”. Algeciras, 12 November 2018

The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence “Migration and Human Rights in Europe´s External Borders”, with Professor Jesús Verdú and collaborators Aida Baraño Loshuertos, Cristina Calvillo Bianchi and Ana Higuera López, has carried out an informative session for the students of the Higher Degrees in Infant Education, in Social Integration and in Communicative Mediation, on November 12th, 2018, on Introduction to the European Union and Social Policy.

This informative session, which has been organized together with Europe Direct Campo de Gibraltar, is part of the activities planned in our Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence “Immigration and Human Rights at the European External Borders”, with the intention of bringing European Union policies closer to young people in secondary schools in the province of Cadiz, and raise awareness among students on issues related to the European Union and Human Rights.
